Three years ago, we set out to develop the absolute best earthquake app available for the iPhone. We looked at all of the available earthquake apps and quickly discovered that none of them presented historical earthquake information. Most showed only a few days of data with limited mapping or filtering options. We went to work. Soon after launch of the app, a magnitude 7 earthquake devastated Haiti.
Today, if you want to look at the initial Haiti earthquake or any historical event on an iPhone, Earthquake Alerts is absolutely your best answer. Its also the ONLY WAY TO SEE the initial M8.8 CHILE EARTHQUAKE and its HUNDREDS of subsequent aftershocks on an iPhone. The Japanese earthquakes that caused the March 11th tsunami that badly damaged the Fukushima nuclear plant are also available.

Ever since I upgraded from quakes zones to earthquakes it wont work for me at all! I keep trying to open it and it wont open it keeps closing! Please fix!!
Just to emphasize how bad I think your customer appreciation is, I had to purchase this app to be able to tell potential purchasers! I had your original app, Quake Zones Pro (or QZones Pro as the icon said), which functioned great. You remove it from the iTunes store and direct me to this "re-created" app (which looks exactly the same except for putting some historical info under different buttons with the ugliest icon Ive ever seen) and charge me all over again. Seriously?!!!! Shame on you. Ive switched to "Quake Watch - Latest Earthquake Info" which offers 7 feed sources and is very user friendly.
Very well done. Has news information about earthquakes gathered every few minutes from all over the web. If you are a quake nut like me and want to see information from months and years ago for research, you will love this application. Dont be fooled. This app does things that no other quake application can do and deserves to be in top 10!
